The reason my water looks green is only due to the reflection of the light bouncing off from all the plants in my aquarium. Rest assured my water and plants are 100% free of algae. There are absolutely no algae growing in my aquarium.
Salvinia Minima are easy to care for and they are great for beginner aquascapers.
It is usually referred to as common Salvinia or Water Spangles. Salvinia Minima is native to South America and was introduced to the United States in the 1920s-1930s.
These floating plant does not only help clean up the bio toxins within the waters, but it also adds an elegant touch to your aquarium or pond.
Shrimps and baby fries can also take comfort knowing they have a safe hiding spot should they want to travel up to the water surface.
You will surely notice more activity with your shy fishes and shrimps when having Salvinia in your aquarium.
Our Salvinia are not 'contaminated' with Duckweed.
If your aquarium is heavily planted, it's close to imposable to get rid of them.
